Wizkid is the stage name of Ayodeji Ibrahim Wi, a singer and songwriter from Nigeria. One of the largest and most well-known African musicians of all time,Wizkid  is a well-known personality in the contemporary afrobeats music scene.

However, Wizkid performed on October 6, 2018, to a packed house at the Skyway Theatre in Minneapolis, making history as the first African artist to sell out the space.

Therefore, October 6th is hereby declared Wizkid Day by MARK DAYTON, Governor of Minnesota.
