Ilebaye has refuted the assertion that he was selected as the Big Brother Naija All Stars season winner out of sympathy.

Ilebaye said that she was not elected because of sympathy or because she was the underdog during an interview on Lagos Talks. She claimed that the reason she was chosen as the reality show’s winner was because it was her time.
