BlaqBonez Dished Out Renaissance Emeka Must Shine Album

“Emeka Must Shine” is the title of BlaqBonez’s 2023 debut album, which he released under Chocolate City Music.
Rapper Emeka Akumefule, a.k.a. Blaqbonez, is a Nigerian artist signed to Chocolate City.

Notwithstanding, Blaqbonez’s unique rap style and inventiveness are well-known attributes. The New York Times featured him as one of the new guardians of Nigerian music in a profile in 2019.

Still, on this new album, “Emeka Must Shine” Ludacris, Young Jonn, Black Sherif, Projexx, Zlatan, Odumodublvck, Victony, and other artists are featured on the recently released project, which has 14 great tracks.

Additionally, Nigerian hip-hop artist Blaqbonez says to Apple Music, “I kind of create a different persona every time I create a project.” Similar to my debut album, Bad Boy Black [2018], that character’s name. The EP that came after it was Mr. Bombastic [in 2019]. Mr. Bombastic was a reggaetón artist, and Bad Boy Black was a rapper. Subsequently, Emeka the Stallion’s voice was clean and distinct, with a hint of reggaetón influence. Next came [2022’s] Young Preacher, who was a cross between the rapping Bad Boy Black and Emeka the Stallion.

Subsequential, Blaqbonez brings together all of his musical personas for the celebratory album Emeka Must Shine (2023). He says, “This specific album is all of them, but inside each individual track.” “Every track is a combination of every version of me. This record is an event. The pen is just enjoyable. You don’t want to think about everything, including your struggles, when you’re having a late night. It’s simply life’s lovely things. And I’m talking about having a great time with cars, money, and women. It’s a party from start to finish. Blaqbonez walks us through the standout songs on this album.
